Betty White, a Golden Retriever, is a couch potato and a lover. She has a playful spirit and a sweet demeanor, so she was perfect for Love on 4 Paws. Whether she is snuggling a child or a senior citizen, Betty is happy to be petted. At CHLA we visited a girl who had been hysterical. Betty calmed her and when it was time to go, the girl got out of bed and walked Betty into the hall. That was the first time the girl had walked in weeks. Then I knew that Betty and I were really making a difference.
