Hi, my name is Bear! No, I'm not an actual bear, though my mom thought I looked like a polar bear when we first met-so the name stuck! I'm a Great Pyrenees (pronounced Peer-ah-knees), bred to protect sheep from wolves and other predators in snowy mountains. That might explain why I'm such a night owl! My life was forever changed when I was rescued in Palmdale, and now I live happily in Redondo Beach. At first, I was shy and even scared of stairs, but with my mom's help, I learned to conquer them one paw at a time. I can't wait to meet you through Love On 4 Paws and bring a smile to your face, one Bear hug at a time
