Griffey is named after the childhood hero of his owner, the great Ken Griffey Jr., a former professional baseball player. Griffey is a Golden Retriever who came from a breeder in Texas. Maybe that is why his favorite food is BBQ beef ribs! The funniest thing Griffey does is cross his paws when you ask him to sit like a gentleman. This outgoing dog loves to fetch and play, and yet when he goes to the dog park, he is much more interested in saying hi to every single person than playing with the dogs. He is a people-person through and through!
