Maya, named as a compromise between Molly and Kaya, is a Golden Retriever from a Simi Valley breeder. She absolutely loves visiting people as a Love On 4 Paws therapy dog. When asked by a patient, Maya will jump up on the hospital bed. During blueberry season, Maya will eat from the bushes in the yard, as well as the persimmons that fall off the tree to the ground. Maya is exceptionally smart, as she was the first one in the family to discover that the daughter-in-law of her owner was pregnant.
