My husband and I were asked to foster an older three-legged dog, dropped at the shelter by her previous owners. We agreed to foster her just to get her out of the shelter. She came to us, super shy and so skinny that her head was too big for her body. We fell in love with her immediately and decided we had to keep her. We named her Betty White after our other favorite Golden Girl. Today, Betty is a happy, healthy dog. My favorite moment with his when she runs to me everyday when I come home.
