Cabot is a big, sweet golden retriever. He was born on a farm in Cabot, Vermont. He and his 12 siblings lived in the barn with goats and barn cats. The night we brought him home, it was 14 degrees below zero. Now Cabot prefers the California sunshine and a king size bed. Cabot lives to be loved. At the dog park he spends time going from person to person, looking for a back scratch, while ignoring the other dogs. Doing his therapy work brings him as much joy as it does to those he visits.
