It was Zoe's last day at the shelter when I brought her home. She had scrapes, a twisted front leg, and was severely malnourished. Since then she has become my best friend. Now I foster other dogs, and Zoe is my best helper. If the puppies make too much noise, she goes in & rolls the whole litter on their backs as if to say, "No fighting in this house." If a child should have a cast on their leg, they see Zoe is doing just fine, and they will too. I am humbled by Zoe's love & joy for life.
