I’m Samantha, named after Mom’s grandparents, Sam and Anna. Mom found me alone at a rescue; my littermates had been adopted. I looked very cute with my short legs and my long body. Mom picked me up, and it was love at first slurp. She adopted me knowing that I needed leg surgery. I’ve had the operation, and I’m doing great, but now I know what it feels like to have surgery and be in a hospital. That’s why I love visiting hospital patients --- so I can bring joy when they need it the most.
