We like to believe that Mulan found us, five years ago, at a large adoption event. Our closest friends adopted her puppy, so they still enjoy a mother/daughter relationship. Mulan is a good therapy dog because she can sense people’s needs, she loves being in bed (anyone’s bed will do), she can never get enough petting, and she is very willing to learn new tricks, especially if she gets more praise and extra treats. Her special talent is responding to commands in both English and Spanish.
