My name is River, and I am a mix of both Golden and Labrador Retrievers. My name evokes fond memories of joyful times with loved ones. My favorite activity is rolling a ball under the couch and then giving my human the puppy eyes to rescue it. Back-and-forth games, couch-style! I am quite observant, and have been known to bring smiles with my antics, like the time I blew bubbles in the pool with my snout. Notably, I follow in the pawprints of my predecessor, Charlie, a benevolent Golden Retriever who introduced my handler to the world of therapy dogs. In honoring his legacy, I continue to share warmth and unconditional love with everyone I meet.
