An old friend called and asked, "Do you want a new dog?" "No," I answered. "Great. We're on our way." In walked Theo, 100 pounds of St. Bernard puppy. Puppy?! It was love at first sight. Though he had been in six different homes before ours, he had clearly been well loved as he was a perfect gentleman from the get-go except for the drool part. Still growing, he now weighs in at 130. He won't work for a treat or for a toy, but he'll do anything for a hug and a resounding "Good Boy!"
