Valencia

Valencia is a 5 year old, yellow Lab. We raised her for Guide Dogs for the Blind. She did very well in her training but was dropped from the program because of allergies, and we welcomed her back as our pet. Valencia is very gentle and mellow. She is happy to be on a bed or a chair by a patient. She just wants to be petted and snuggled. If the patient stops petting her, she puts her paw up as if to say “please don’t stop.” She clearly loves bringing comfort to others.
